PESHAWAR: In a move to enhance financial collaboration, the State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation (SBP BSC), Dera Ismail Khan, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gomal University.

The agreement was formalized by Chief Manager SBP BSC, Roman Ali, and Gomal University’s Registrar, Zahid Shah Marwat.

As part of this partnership, SBP BSC will support the university in introducing Islamic banking courses, paving the way for a Diploma in Islamic Banking and the launch of a Bachelor’s degree program in the discipline.

This initiative represents a significant step towards promoting financial literacy and advancing Islamic banking education in the region.
