KPRA Achieves Rs37.37 Billion Revenue in Nine Months, Sees 41% Growth

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) has recorded a revenue collection of Rs37.37 billion during the first nine months of the fiscal year 2024-25, reflecting a 41% increase compared to the same period last year.

In the corresponding months of the previous fiscal year, KPRA had collected Rs26.58 billion — showing a rise of Rs10.79 billion.

As per KPRA’s media wing, Rs28.8 billion was collected from Sales Tax on Services, while Rs8.57 billion came from the Infrastructure Development Cess (IDC). In comparison, collections from Sales Tax on Services and IDC in the same period last year were Rs22.8 billion and Rs3.74 billion, respectively — representing a 26% increase in Sales Tax on Services and a significant 129% growth in IDC.

Director General KPRA, Fouzia Iqbal, praised the commitment and hard work of the authority’s team and credited their efforts for the impressive performance. She expressed optimism about surpassing this year’s revenue target and stated, “By June-end, KPRA will shine like a star due to its outstanding performance.”

She also appreciated taxpayers for their trust and cooperation, acknowledging their role in KPRA’s success. Additionally, she thanked Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Advisor to CM on Finance Muzammil Aslam for their leadership, which she said had been pivotal in implementing effective policies and steering KPRA toward its objectives.
